# Trade replay

> Trade replay in 54Trades overlays entry, stop, target, and exit on a market chart so you can see the path, not just the P&L cell.

Replay is for the trades you already logged. The chart is the tape around that fill: entry, stop, target, exit.

## What you see

Pick a trade. The replay view loads a market chart for that symbol when the data vendor allows it, and draws the levels you stored. Period and candle/line style are selectable.

## When the chart is empty

If the vendor rate-limits or the symbol is unknown, you still have the journal row. Replay does not invent candles.

## Why it exists

P&L without path is a scoreboard. Path without P&L is entertainment. You want both, on the same fill.

### Is this a simulator?

No. It is a review of fills you already took.

### Which markets?

Symbols the market data layer can chart (US stocks via Polygon, crypto via CoinMarketCap), plus anything you logged even if the chart is missing.
